About the band
Pineapple Band began in 2019 as a humble trio in the small town of Bel Air, Maryland. Since then, we’ve grown into a full-blown six-piece party machine; louder, funkier, and way more saxophones!
The current lineup includes:
Cooper Wade – Guitar & Vocals
Ryan Currier – Saxophones, Vocals & Shaker Mastery
Chase Lipka – Saxophones & Vocals
Anthony Markley – Drums
Nick Stampone – Bass Guitar
Saegin – Keyboards
We rehearse weekly; not just because we like each other (though we do), but because we’re obsessed with keeping things tight, fresh, fun, and full of energy for our fans. We’re not just playing songs; we’re putting our own unique spin on classics, crafting interesting transitions and medleys that keep the energy flowing and the crowd guessing. Plus, we’re constantly adding new tunes to our ever-expanding setlist of rock, funk, soul, reggae, R&B, and hip hop favorites.
We’re here to bring the party, keep you dancing, and maybe even surprise you with a mind-boggling solo performed by one man wielding not one, but two saxophones at once! WOW! Or maybe a pineapple... Probably both!
The Members
Cooper Wade has been playing guitar and singing for 12+ years. As one of the co-founders of this band, he makes sure his heart and soul is poured into the quality and energy that we have to offer. He may look young, but his voice and his soul says otherwise.
Ryan Currier has been playing saxophone for 14+ years. Being the other co-founder of the band, his dedication is pure and the humor he brings to the room shines.
Anthony “The Ice Man” Markley. Has many years under his belt with different types of genres. His locked in tempos, tight drum fills, and versatility make him the perfect man to hold down the groove. Music is where his heart is and you can see it with every performance.
Nick “The ‘I got dat Dawg in Me’” Stampone passionately brings all of those legendary bass sounds and techniques you want to hear. From a slappin’ groove to some thunderous rock lines, all the way to a simple and smooth pocket. He undoubtedly loves to bring it every time.
Chase “Yeah I Gotchu Bro” Lipka brings his incredible saxophone skills and amazing energy to the stage! Inspired at a young age by great rock bands such as “Rush” and further inspired by jazz legends like “Charlie Parker”, there is no doubt that whatever comes out of that saxophone is going to “blow” you away.
The one and only “So Fine, So Pretty” Saegin is the embodiment of raw talent and artistic brilliance. Effortlessly merging musical genius with a commanding presence.
